I'm gonna use red. It mmay not match the dash but red and black is sort of the ram colors.

the newer 2nd gen flip out isnt much use either.
mine won't even support the weight of an empty coke can.

Yeah I don't know about the other gens but us 2nd gen owners are "f'ed in the a" as far as beverage containment. Doesn't really matter what style. The first style holds weight well but is in the worst area possible (cant put my beer there the cops will see it j/k) and the second style is a good location but it really won't hold much. Both spill drinks like they're designed just to do that. It's literally the only thing I don't like about my dodge.
