Driver footwell area

Can someone with a gen 4 tell me if the pics looks normal. I noticed what appears to be a trim piece removed and a harness hanging in there. There are two other harnesses that are unused with foam paper covers on them. Also I'm assuming that black plastic tubing with multiple holes is the cabin air and heat duct ? Don't look right to me.

I am pretty sure that is the connector for the trailer brake controller.

Can anyone shed some light as to why the duct work has so many holes in it. I even see a home made one as if someone punched a hole in it with a screw driver.

Yeah, the third one looks a little lonely as it didnt come with the sponge around it either.
