Dropping the rear

Ive got a 2003 regular cab short bed and I'm looking at dropping the rear about 2 inches. My only issue is, is there anything that can be done to keep the rear of the truck from dropping horribly low when pulling a trailer when the rear is lowered?

for just 2 inches look at shackles and for the trailer look at getting air bag spring helpers

Unfortunately the advertised 2" shackles only give you about 1-1/2" of drop. You can also do a axle flip and adjust it to where you want. A lot of work for only a little change. For eliminating sag, as mentioned airbags are the way to go.

helper bags are they way to go...

How much drop is that? And my question is with the helper bags is that do you have to have a compressor to air up the bags once you are loaded or how does that work?

Hey all, new too the Forum,dropping my 06 2wd V6,any advise for the products/price/procedure, thinking 2" in fron't 4" the rear,it's on 20" KMC's,eventually wanting too go too bagging in all corners, just looking for info and help
