I usually catch stuff like this, Every year 'bout this time I clean an oil my k&n filters. Well this year I found out something. Look at this first photo, see anything amiss? Look at the air box, see the clean line at the top?

Oh by the way, the indentation allows for the hoodlamp.

doesn't look like it was a problem....I'm sure it flexed down as needed when you shut the hood

Yeah and put a hairline crack in the lense.

I looked at the rubber going across and thought it was solid steel. I did not know there was a punch out in the sheet metal.Until today, lol. Now that it's the way it should be.
If the rubber pops up , I'll know what to do! lol.

or popped out my stick on! , or even put some stress cracks in the paint. I was lucky here , I can still show the truck and not worry too much bout a cracked lense. The hood can be closed half if not all the time.:)
