E rated tires

Well I am due for some tires . Need some help on witch ones .

I want and always run MT tires , I have had Toyo MT's , Kuhmo MT's , Supper Swampers , Nitto Mud Graps , And Federal MT's

I want a 315/75-16 .. 35x12.50 like I have now . I WANT the most miles and a hard tire not soft .

Any recommendations ?

I am looking at another set of Kuhmos or the new BFG KM2's , or Cooper SST's or **** Cepek Mud Country

But willing to see what you all think .

The Cooper and BFG are bad about cupping if you're not on top of rotations. We've got a Cooper tire plant here in town and a lot of people run the SST's and get 40k-50k out of them usually.
My uncle has a set on his 1-ton and has about 35k on his and they've still got plenty of life left in them.

I've got the same size Kumho a/t on mine and really like them. No signs of wear since I got them at the beginning of the year

I've got a set of Cooper STT's (265/75 R16) on a set of 16x8 steel rim sitting in the shop. I really do hate running them because of the MPG loss I see... But I'll admit they are good hard rubber tire that does withstand the dirt roads and pulling.

Another odd tire I had good luck with I want to buy again is Big O Tire AT's. They lasted a very long time and were a excellent tire.

But since your looking for a very large size you might have a bit of trouble. (Shrug smiley)

Ya , I am sticking with the 35 . I had 37-13.50 on my last truck and man 9 mpg sucked , but that was a gasser .

ive heard alot of good things about the kuhmos and will probably be getting some when my summits wear out.
although i have to say my summit mud dawgs have been great! excellent wear pattern and ive put 20k+ on them and still at about 50% tread or more
IM pretty sure you guys have Plaza tire service stations over in IL. you can usually get some great deals there and they have 90 days same as cash option as well.

edit: just looked, they have one in Duqoin and sparta

I don't know if they make em in your size, but the Goodyear DuraTrac's have held up AWESOME under my buddies lead foot "I'm a race car driver" style of driving for over 20k. They look virtually brand new.

I don't think in the 315 size they come E rated just D (8 Ply)

I'm with WhiteExpress, my buddy has put some miles on his DuraTrac's and they still look new. I'm gonna give them a shot when I buy tires next month!
