Engine Cover Dress Up

So I decided to dress up my engine bay a little today by painting my engine cover and radiator cover. I used the RAM badges from when I debadged my truck to add a little "BLING". Whatcha think?

Kind of although there's really no need. After driving for over an hour, the cover was still cool enough to touch. There is a good amount of insulation on the back side of it. The black is a high heat, high gloss and the blue is color matched. I had a local company use my paint code and put it in an aerosol can. I only cleared the blue because solvent percentage is higher in the black gloss than in the clear coat and it would have gotten foggy. After the blue was cleared it all matched perfectly.

Yea. I put it on there to see how it grows on me. If i'm not a fan in a few days I'll remove it. Right now, I like it cause it's something different. Haha.
