Just curious what kind of tricks (if any) are up the tuners sleeves with the hybrid etorque technology...

Do you plan on keeping the truck for 2 or 3 years and trading again, or keeping it long term? If you plan on trading again in a few years, go for it. Long term, stay away. I bet the battery pack for that thing behind the rear seat is expensive. I hope that it doesn't overheat and burn down the truck too.
Interesting. Haven’t thought about it from that perspective. Do you think that “battery pack” will be covered under Dennis Dillon’s complimentary lifetime warranty?[emoji6] maybe I should actually ask the dealer that. I plan on keeping it long term!
If you can get that in writing, that would be excellent. The batteries, no matter the quality, will eventually degrade. They can make them degrade slower with higher quality units, but then they are more expensive, so its a trade off between the engineers and the bean counters (just like anything else).
The 5.7 goes on top, i bet you can swap a pulley and a new belt, and tune out the E-torque.
