I've changed the gas cap. When I take it off I can hear the pressure so I don't think it's the cap. I replaced the purge valve I believe (under the battery) with no luck. Light is still on. I checked the hoses around the charcoal canister and didn't see any that were cracked. Does anyone have any idea?

Not 100% familiar with the RAM setup yet, but on my '01 Frontier this turned out to be the solenoid valve for the cannister...BUT not exactly how you would think.

The solenoid part worked just fine and blocked/let in air like it should have. What actually happened is the plastic "manifold" the hoses connect to was leaking. Really hard to find, and in fact I only found it because I had the pickup bed completely off (different story).

Might see if a local shop will "smoke" the system for you, seems pretty easy to figure out where leaks are that way.

It is probably the leak detection pump. It is just a little diaphragm that spins on. I replaced mine before after a gas tank swap. I am confident it will help you.

That was part for my 09 double check your year but I think that will fix it.
