Anybody on here have one of Taurus's 44mag raging bulls? One of the local shops had one fora pretty decent deal and I am strongly considering picking it up.

They have a 2" barrel ultra light which is tempting as well for $550. That thing scares me.

He has the long barrel. The 2" barrell would scare me for sure.

Went down and held it again, it feels so comfortable in the hand. Wish I could find someone around here that has one that I could fire a bit.

I had an 8" Dan Wesson. I reloaded nice pleasant rounds for it. That said, it became a safe queen. Honestly, unless you are after very large or dangerous game the .44 and up guns are useless. Novel, but useless.

Wouldn't consider it a useless gun imo, There is a place for everything if you have the use for it.

I personally like the 4 inch version with the ported barrel. I believe the 444 is the one my dad wants to match his Marlin 44 lever action.

Unless you're going to be using it often, I wouldn't jump for it. Well, that and unless you want a matched rifle and wheelgun.
