Nice wheels and tires! I'm not thrilled about the potential loss of mpg. I'm already at 14mpg.

Well it may not be so bad. I used to average 20.5 mpg on the highway where I spend most of my time. (2wd) I now average 18.5. Mixed driving I’m now closer to 15-16mpg. But that really depends on how quickly I accelerate.

Anyone have any experience with the BFG KO2? I'm between the falken at3w and the bfg ko2. Gonna be a 35x12.5x20 on a ram 1500 with 6 in lift.

You're averaging 14 on stock wheels and tires?? You either have a severe case of lead foot or an issue. A leveling kit shouldn't affect your mpg much at all. I can see why you're not upgrading tires anytime soon, I wouldn't want to lose more mpg either.

well, I just changed my air filter, and it's getting close to 16 now. I'm half done with the current tank of gas. We'll see what happens at fill-up

I'm close to 17 currently on the 34" General's, was pushing 19 with the stock tires. Seems weird to me.

Same. Trips around town for kids crap and a 15 mile country drive to work and back.

I've got 75 miles 2x a week on the interstate, then the rest is city driving. it could also be the crappy winter blend gas up here.

I also blame some of my MPG on the winter gas. Currently getting around 15.5-16.2mpg and I do not drive heavy as most of my weekly commute occurs with my kid in the car to and from daycare before and after work. I hope to see better numbers in the summer.

.

I would think you will see 2 to 2.5 mpg increase with the summer blend gas.

Here is what it looks like to have the Wildpeaks on the stock size 20" tire. I love them. I have 0 regrets about not going with a bigger size.

Is your truck stock height? I am planning on these tires, stock size on stock suspension and this setup looks great!

My pics on the very first post are stock size, stock height 20" wheel.
Great, thank you for clarifying, that looks great and is exactly what I was wanting, very similar to my setup and it looks great. Ive been long debating a level/bilstein add but not sure I want to compromise my MPG and alignment since it is never the same as stock!

I have it leveled at 2.1 on the front end but besides that all stock.

I’m trying to decide if these will look good with 1.75” bora spacers and a leveling kit. I’m worried they will look to small/thin.

guess it all depends on what size you go with, or what size you already have.

After driving a winter on the 275-65-20s, I won't do it again. They don't get good traction, and cornering on snow or ice is dangerous at best. They are like a mud or sand tire, that wants to be up on top of the snow, and not dig into it. I put some 285-70-17 Nokian studless snow tires on it, and it's a night and day difference on how it handles on snow and ice. I've driven for 32 years in the snow, and these are the worst all-season tire I've ever used during the winter. I mean, the stock 20" Goodyears weren't any worse than these.

You were running a E rated tire on a 1500, probable not enough weight to get a good foot print.

Overall I did not see a major improvement in snow over worn out stock RSA's.

I did notice a major increase if front end traction when turning though in the snow vs. the stock tires that wanted to push/plow straight.
