Fitting 20x9 SRT repros

So im gonna be purchasing a set of 20x9 SRT-10 repros in the spring. Getting the black ones, wrapping in nitto 420s. Anyways, ive been told that i need a different grease caps on the front to fit these wheels since mine is a 99. ive looked around and cant even find stock ones let alone lower profile ones. but i believe on 2001 trucks they have a grease cap that will work. so can someone try and link me to 2001 grease caps or lower profile ones? itd be much appreciated!

2001 has no grease caps, they are unit bearings. best bet is spacers.

If a guy needed to do a hub anyways, could he upgrade to a 2001 hub and not have to worry about it? I'm just curious

I doubt it. Might be possible with a spindle change.. but I still doubt it.

i dont think the front spindles will interchange, without a buttload more stuff being swapped as well.

i was thinking about doing 1 or 1.5 inch spacers anyways. so the spacers will take care of the problem? thats great!

I have a spare set of grease caps. I'll see if I can turn them down a bit in my machine at work Monday. I'll let you know how they turn out.

As I said, I put the spare grease caps in my machine this morning, and took about 3/8's of an inch off of them. They came out looking pretty damn good, but I can't get them to stay on the hub.
