Voted on a refresh...but please don't change the colour scheme.
lol I dont think anythings being changed as there's clearly a lack of participation from the Staff.. I was hoping this would perk the interest of some one that could make changes around here.. Guess not
Its not that easy to get a new skin made. First off, the guy that did this site for me is no longer doing that and others out there don't do this version much anymore. If they did, they would charge an arm and leg for it. So a poll is not going to make it easier for me to get a new skin going.
Well theres a lot of smart people on here does anyone know anything about it? I can start looking into it.
ok so i looked into it super quick.. and a friend is a coder so I asked him. Pretty much its easy to modify, however the version of vBulletin you are running has major exploits. so, at the very least it should be patched according to what I read on the vBulletin forums.
From the quick reading I have done, this looks very simple, no coding necessary, pretty much just plop it into an editor and off you go. I will dig a bit deeper into it. If I can find out if I can edit this version would you be interested or nah?
Im sure theres other techies like me on here that have worked with vBulletin.
Personally i love the forum exactly the way it is. Half the reason i do is the layout and all that encompasses that. If you look at other forums they are a lot harder to follow and find threads. The pretty clear segregation of topics is a huge plus to me. Honestly it looks way more professional than even places like dodgeforum which are massive. I joined dodgeforum and ramforumz both before i found this one. I only ever use the others for quick cross reference to info on here. Total community of it is awesome too (at least in the 2nd gen area, i don't check out other sections much)
I say leave it the way it is. BUT that is MY opinion. If anything were to be added I'd think maybe an "all-gen" section above the 4th gens could be cool otherwise I'm happy with it
I'll second that!!
I agree to this... the gray is soft easy on the eyes and easy to read
The color palette on the forum I have changed at all in the first place, are too dark color interface of the site.
