Not for certain that it is that. Just something else to keep in mind. I got lucky when I did the clutch in my car because it was a common fail point on that make of vehicle

Not sure what else would be leaking but now I get to drop the trans to find out.

Well found the problem, now I just hope that it didn't damage anything else and that it's all in the pan. New lifters showed up from summit so I am going to replace all of them just in case any others are about to go[IMG][IMG][IMG]

have you checked the cam to see if it is damaged? i wouldn't be surprised if something like that could have wiped out a cam lobe

Ok well crap, didn't look at the whole thing when I first took a look. But somehow a lobe for cylinder 1 and 2 are done for. Not sure how I managed to do this but looks like I'll be getting that cam I was thinking about[IMG]

well considering how damaged the lifter wheel looked that is not surprising. the wear on the wheel that shows it has been chewing on metal. i personally don't know if i would consider just tossing a brand new cam and lifters in that engine without completely tearing it apart and making sure the engine is clean. if you wiped out 2 or more lobes like that then there is likely lots of tiny metal particles floating around the engine/oil that might have been pumped through the engine while you were driving it.
