Front end problem

Hey guys. Hoping you can help give me some ideas to look at. 1999 ram 1500. Was going to work tonight and all of a sudden i started getting a loud knock under my feet. Drove fine but i took it home. Quick check of the ujoints looked good. Couldnt miss work so will look in the morning. Any ideas? Didnt do it on pullout just when speed normalized

Check the ball joints with the front end jacked, its about the age those go out if they haven't been replaced before. Otherwise a general shakedown is in order of the front end steering. 4x2 or 4x4?
