i might be losing my mind but i swear i saw a thread with OEM and alternative oils for full range service. engine, TC, Trans, etc

EDIT: guess i was wrong, was hoping to make this easier finding the correct oils etc but it's about time for a good old fashioned tune up. My ponies are running free 1 by 1 leaving me in the mud

ANYWAY heres my parts list in case anyone in the future stops by to take a look if you see "ALT" that means it's an alternative to oem

and of course feel free to share opinions on what could be changed. i tried to make my list as cost effective as possible without sacrificing to much quality.

for some reason i cant find the OEM part number for the 65RFE 6 speed filters. mopar.com only lists a flex plate. anyone have it written down somewhere?

do you know the difference between "AC" and "AD"? because the one i found is 5179267AD. i love my truck, i swear i do but sometimes i just want to light it on fire and roll it down a hill....

and for the love of odins beard why are the 1000 mopar websites. there all slightly different and its killing my grove with these random part numbers. i thought i save the mopar number for the bw44-44 oil but after putting it into the search bar it turned out to be a turbo charger bracket.....

edit: nevermind about AC and AD, there just superseded parts

went to amsoil website, put in my trucks info and it says they have a product for the bw44-44 TC for $10qt.
is this snake oil or did someone actually make an alternative oil for the bw44-44?

Edit: they have the same product listed for the TRANS 65FRE, TC NV243, TRANS AP4, and BW44-45. me thinks its wrong. my super special 44-44 dosent share well with other

I've used Amsoil fluids for years, engine oil, gear lube, trans oil, never had any issues. Seems like most are using either Amsoil or redline fluids. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact them directly and ask about you're specific situation.

I wouldn't buy 3qts of t-case oil unless you want a quart and a half of left over fluid on the shelf....
