By the way some guy says he did not have to remove dipstick tube to get his on. Watching and helping I say no way on mine. There was no room to slide this header on with the dipstick tube still on. Had to be removed and then it goes through the header soooo, what am I missing here?

My curiosity is killing me. I want to know!!!!!

I think you misunderstood. He removed the dipstick, installed the header, bent the dipstick to fit, and reinstalled.

Nope, go back and read. He said he bent it around and saved himself the hassle but he has the 1 3/4. I wonder if there is a difference in tube configuration or just the bigger size made this impossible. Waiting for an expert to chime in...

My bad, you're right. When I read that he bent the dipstick I figured that he did like I and many others did with theirs. Bent it and snaked the tube down through the primaries.

Yeah, me and a few others can't understand how it would be possible. And if it were the dipstick would be in an odd place off to the side.....
