Alright all got a few quick questions. First I have an 07 QC Thunderroad. I'm getting ready to drop it (From all your opinions I decided on the McG spindle kit). I have one problem. I'm running 22x10 SRT-10 wheels. They already rub in the front at full lock. Anyone running 22's on a 2\4? Got any rubbing problems? Do I really need to shell out for 22x9's? Any info will help.

Also, anyone find a good sway bar kit? Is it worth it?

I have 22s and I just bought the same exact kit. I don't think it should rub unless the tires are too big, my tires are like low pro's

I'm running 305/40's
I could probably go to 295 or 285 but I don't want to leave the rim lip exposed too much.

As far as I can tell it's stock. Rubs on the sway bar in the front.

When was the front end aligned? Sounds like your camber is off it your rubbing sitting at stock height.

I'll get it checked but it's not tracking or wearing at all. Anyone got a stock height measurement?

Alright so the last few months have been hell! Some worthless mutt stole the wheels off my truck! I FINALLY got the truck back after a month and half of waiting!

So I called the local dealer about the alignment issue (If there is one). They told me $300+! Said I need a camber kit ($100+ for 4 bolts, nuts, and washers), $99.95 for the alignment, and an hour labor @ $104.50.

Anyone had to install a camber kit before on there truck or is this BS? Please keep in mind I'm not lowered yet! I have to kit on order but I want to get this rubbing issue fixed first.

OMG that sucks about your wheels!

Are you going to lower it with coils in the front or the spindles? I'm not quite sure about the camber kit.... i wouldnt think you would need that with only a 2/4, only if you went lower like a 4/6 but I could be wrong...?

Oh yeah, and you were rubbing with the 22 SRT wheels, right?

I'm going with the spindles. McG 2\4.5 kit. Yea they got my SRT-10 wheels. Insurance finally took care of everything. Got the same wheels (Chrome SRT-10) and some Nittos. Loving the tires so far. btw DO NOT DEAL with LA Wheel! Took them a month to ship my wheels.

Hoping I don't need a camber kit. Save me $200+

Ok, I have the same exact kit you are getting, and my truck is just fine, I didnt get an alignment or camber kit and it drives perfectly fine so I would say dont worry about it

if you find you are still having rubbing issues, you could try running 1/4" spacers

I have a 3/5 drop, with the srt 22x10 wheels and 305-40-22 Nittos. They rub. I think even at a 2" drop they would. I have some 285-45-22's waiting to be installed, should take care of a lot of that.
