If you're buying a pickup truck for MPG, you've got something coming to ya anywho!
I'm super excited that I have a 400 HP toy that gets 20 MPG on the highway.

Hell, my last truck would barely tickle 16. That's a HUGE improvement, and with WAY more power too!

Well 20 MPG is damn good if you ask me.
I have yet to hit anything more than 17

This is why I got the 8 speed (Hemi, not V6). I really wanted a truck but was having a hard time with the mileage drop so a Ram was the obvious choice for me (also had a Grand Cherokee and a Durango in the past, so I wanted to stay in the family :) ).

Just finished a 547 mile round trip here in Colorado and got 20.8mpg. Not too bad considering the engine, weight, 3.92 axle and the lighter air (the trip was mainly above 8000 ft). I was trying to be a little light but had to do plenty of uphill passing on the two lane mountain roads. The Hemi did not disappoint but my wife got a bit nervous at times. :)

@bran101010 - how are you forcing yours into 4 cyl mode? I thought it was automatic based on driving conditions, like flat cruising at highway speeds.

I'm sorry guys for a point less thread.. I thought guys were seeing almost 16 mpgs with tuners and etc. I love my truck and would not give it up! Just thought I could muster up more than 300 miles on a tank of gas lol

Im getting 700Km per tank in my bone stock 2010 QC Sport .

thats about 430 miles.

im averaging 14.5-15.0 Liters per 100K. Not sure what the mpg equals out to.

Where in Canada are you located?
Thats and off topic question....lol! Curious as I am in Toronto

Back on topic.
Im guessing you have the larger tank? 14.5-15L/100 is 15.7-16.2 MPG
Similar to what I get, but I get about 550-600 to a tank and I have the smaller tank

That's AWFUL unless you're running WOT quarter miles!

Are you stock or mod'd to the max? If you are getting 8.9MPG stock, you've got serious issues, or a foot made out of lead. :bawl:

Sure. It is a handy conversion, but monitoring fuel consumption too closely can be a bad idea too, right? We're about to hit $1.40/lt here in BC. and probably $1.50 by the end of the summer.
