You cant widen the pipe, you have to cut it open to a 3" in/out, otherwise its a 2.5" in/out pipe so you'll go from free flowing to restrictive to back to free flowing.

Stock cats online new go for around $80-$90 per cat, used probably cut that number in half as long as they were still working when you used them last.

is that an O2 sensor port on the top of the cat? If so that is different from what the 05's have, they have the **** behind the cat, only hole in the cat is a small drainage hole (make sure when you install them that that is pointing to the ground or they'll rust). Not sure if the PCM will read right if it is taking the reading from inside the cat though since ours is designed to read from before and behind the cat.

Get a few dollars selling the cats to the scrapyard too. Might have to do this myself in case i want to do emissions this year.

Damn. i think me and my exhaust guy will figure every little bit out. And i already bought somthing today, saw a good opportunity on this and wasnt expecting to buy it for a while. Guess yall will see it when i see itt
ill just have to keep looking out for the cats. Or ill sit there for an hour cleaning it...
