So I'm trying to install it but the swaybar bushings wont line up with the holes on the SS due to the swaybar hitting the SS. Do you have to have swaybar drop brackets to install one of these?

That's what I thought, this is dumb and ****** me off. You'd think they'd state that on the site...

Well...yes. I always find myself doing a bit more research these days before ordering stuff. How much of a gap do you need to cover to reninstall your asway bar?

Like about the length of the drop brackets that's why I asked but i also have a 2 inch level so I dunno if that's what's throwing me off

I doubt your spacers have much to do with this unless your links ar binding and not letting you move the bar back so you can bolt it down. Do you have the links removed from the bar....or are you reinstalling the bar upside down? If you removed iit from the truck maybe you inadvertantly rotated it... you could be putting it on upsid down.

The ends of the bar should be curving upwards towards the frame. It's not hard to rotate one and install it upside down.

Well..I'd be on the phone with HBS monday giving someone an earful..nicely of course! It looks from the pics like the crossmember is right where the swaybar would be....but nothing on thier site says that you'd need brackets.

That's exactly what my problem is! It hits the bar before it gets back to the frame mounting holes. And I looked up ramhunter9's pics of when he installed his and he's got drop brackets and it looks perfect

Let me know if you need the brackets I got some I am not using. After my level the links are straight up so don't need them, they are powder coated blue (match my truck) but $15 plus the flat rate box shipping and you can have them, may have some bolts too somewhere.

Sweet Luke I'd appreciate it. I emailed them so hopefully someone will get back to me tomorrow and let me know what the deal is. If I do end up needing them I'll shoot ya a PM.
