Help with brake box

I bought a brake controller box for my Ram, it has the tow package on it. The guy that had it before me cut the connector off that is down next to the fuse box instead of buying a connector. Can someone help me out what colors I need to match up with the new controller I bought.

What colors do you have by the fuse block and what colors do you have on the brake controller?

They have the same colors but I tried to hook them up color to color and fried the box. The guy at the truck accessorie store told me that even though they have the same colors, two of them are crossed in the harness but he couldn't remember which ones.

You can usually find diagrams for brake controllers on the manufacturers websites. If not there then you can email them for a diagram for said model of controller.
