All the pieces that I got painted just pop out. Just take a really small flat tip screw driver and pop em out. Literally took me 2 min to put them all back in.

Go for it man. Spraying all the pieces with a rattle can wont make them look as smooth as mine cause all the pieces have a little texture to them just fyi.

Got one done, but now I need more paint, looks pretty sharp to me, with the others I am gonna use some filling primer to smooth it out more.

I used 400 800 and 1000 and they came out really smooth. The guy that painted them sprayed adhesion promoter on them first them painted them then cleared them.

Thats what I did when I painted the grill the first time, came out pretty good but the real difference is the clear they use, cant get that out of a rattle can.
