225 miles and she's running on fumes.

What's your Ram get per tank, typically?

2014 1500 CC 5.7 Hemi, 26 gallon tank. Run 89 cotane and get about 400 miles per tank if I let it run down, but I try not to ever let in run below 1/4 tank.

you're getting 8.5mpg, thats low unless you're in stop and go traffic. even then I get 12 no matter what i do under 55. at about 60-80 I get 14. I cant get above that no matter what I do (except go back to stock size tires and drive like a grandma, then I can get 16-17 highway).

First thing to do is check what that engine light is about. It might be nothing, but it might be something.

Since you have the 5.9, dont ever expect better than 12 combined. Usually 10 city and 14 highway is the best you can hope for.

Its the low fuel light, not the check engine light you are seeing. Nothing is wrong with the truck, at least, its not throwing any codes. And I drive it easy. Not sure what the heck is going on with it. By comparison, I seem to be getting much worse mileage than most, unfortunately.

I get 220 miles from the fist "half" and about 100 miles out of the last "half" of the tank.

Check your plenum, check valve, and spark plugs. If you have no issues, check your cat, and muffler. I freed up my exhaust and saw a nice improvement in millage.

If all checks out new NTK o2 sensors.

2WD should be getting closer to 16. You've got something wrong. lol
Check your plenum, plugs, and verify your trans is holding.

As for me, I get between 10 and 12 mpg as a rule. About 250mi to a tank.
