I’m very interested. It doesn’t look iPhone or iPad friendly though unless I just overlooked it
No it does not work on Apple products but for that cost of a cheap Android tablet and the $49 app from the Google Play Store you can pretty much turn on anything in your truck you want. We are using it pretty extensively now and I don't know of anybody who's had any issues with corruption like the AE tool causes or any other problems. The nice thing about this tool also is you can remove the codes at a later date if you sell the truck or decide to remove a mod that you previously had. If you buy the OBD Genie all it does is set the code and you can never take it back out unless you have the dealer reflash it. Also the OBD Genies run from $199 to $299 to set one or two codes which is ridiculous. I would say the total you would be into this tool will be around $200 to $250 after you bought the tablet the Bluetooth OBD connector Bluetooth and the alphaOBD app.

I simply refuse to pay for those genies. It’s ridiculous so I think i’ll Go that route with the tablet and the AlfaOBD. It looks like it would be great to use for diagnostics as well and more on my truck.

As much as we are all raving about the tool you would think we worked for the guy LOL! I am extremely pleased with it. I have the AE tool as well and I prefer the alpaOBD hands down.

----- Post edited for bezel mod ----

As a basic overview, your have to cut some traces on the ATC board, remap the buttons with 28awg magnet wire, and switch the left side LEDs (red vs blue) and their current limiting resistors. Plus use the button assy from a single zone...a question that is what I need to do this mode I have two bezel one manual and the other dual with atc I was watching what you did with them but that is the black that travels the magnet wire

What is everybody using with the AlfaOBD software as far as the interface module goes?

MX Bluetooth with windows surface tablet for me. I know others are using MX Bluetooth with android device. Both seem to work.

It's potting compound (or you can use rtv) to hold the wire in place.

Completed the humidity sensor addition to my MTC to ATC conversion. Thanks once again for the great write-ups and helpful advise from all involved! Waited a couple days to post see if there would be any issues to arise and so far so good.

Where did you get the humidity sensor wiring harness?
Benny at https://www.allmoparparts.com/. You can message him here and he can assist you if you run into problems on the site.

Still need to get the cover for it, but wanted to install first. Right now it is double sided taped into place above the mirror temporarily.

I just ordered the pins and connector to modify my harness and bought the sensor on ebay. I'm thinking I might go ahead and buy the AE tool so I can use it for other things in the future plus its a great troubleshooting tool if you ever have problems with your truck

Can you share the info on what you bought to modify the harness?

Alright folks. Our new v2 ATC /Humidity Sensor Add-on is being shipped out to Joe for a test run. Should be plug n Play and tuck in along the top edge of the headliner without taking it down. Once we get feedback we will offer it officially.

So we'll need both harnesses, cabin temperature sensor, and humidity sensor to complete this mod.

Yes if you have a 14 or newer 1500 you will need to add the cabin temperature sensor and humidity sensor in order for the system to function properly.

Does the new v2 harness take care of both the cabin temperature sensor and the humidity sensor with the one harness???

I'm pretty sure it's a complete harness but I'm sure Mike can verify. All that being said now that we have the alpha tool which has the capability of adding the ATC code without the fear of corruption that the AE tool caused and without the exorbitant $299 cost for a genie I highly recommend adding this mod. It's extremely nice and you get spoiled to a real quick.
