Quite simple!

There is a hole in the fender, next to the key here:

You'll need a ratchet, an extension and either a 7MM or T20 bit.

Here is what the adjuster looks like:

couldn't get the camera to focus (stupid phone), but this is a 7MM

Crank away! Clockwise = up!

Damn.... so this whole time of me taking the headlight out and adjusting it and putting it back in then taking it back out (you know what i mean) could all be solved this way. ah well.... now i know a easier way.

Say what?

This is for the vertical aim on the headlights. Projectors may need a slight horizontal adjustment, which is totally different. ;)

assuming they are right from the factory. LOL

Best way to do it.............measure where you are, then 25ft away, 2" drop. Easy.

With HIDs will I have to worry about horizontal adjustments or will it only be vertical?

All I am doing is swapping the OEM with the Retro kit.

Does that go for me with a 8" lift?

That's a good question. I finally remembered to adjust mine down (after 3 months now). I was wondering if there was a rule of thumb for it. I just took a guess - I am sure they are better than they were. Never realized it was so easy to do or I would have done it sooner.

I adjusted mine at first down way to low. I did not notice until this past weekend when I went out duck hunting. As soon as I got away from the lights I could hardly see the road. I had to run my HID driving lights to see and by the way they are awesome. I now adjusted them back up some. I feel it is too high in traffic in the city but on the HWY the still seem too low. I just don't know any more.

being that high up..........well...........kinda stinks for lights and keeping it out of people's eyes. I suggest projectors. LOL
