Just did mine today on my 2010 and the paint still has the "ram" outline no matter how hard I scrub. Anybody have any trick to get this off?

The problem probably isn't that you have residue under where the logo is, after it's after 7 or 8 years, you have oxidation and paint swirls everywhere else. You'll need to polish the paint and your "logo" will go away.

Actually just polished and waxed it and it looks great now!
I had planned to do that anyway but once I saw the outline I freaked out and started to panic a little lol
Thanks man

So I shouldn't have any issues with debadging my 15 truck that was built in 12/14 so just over 2 years ago?

Did mine today. Didn't expect to have holes in the tail gate behind ram badge. Guess I'll have to order a black badge.3bd435dd2ef5f501f7c16b2efc3d0a54.jpg610355487606f7fe79f2e0ae02bad387.jpg51c55a9e25bf5d7d300ec67f50ee267d.jpg

Me and my husband removed the ram and classic logos the day we brought it home! Luckily the adhesive hadn’t really had time to dry rot or whatever it is the adhesive does. We used his 20yr old heat gun to warm it all up a bit. The pulled the badge off the adhesive. Most of the sticky was still left in place though. Used our fingers to roll most of the adhesive up off the paint into a ball then just kinda dabbed the rest of it up with that.

Ifyouhave ever tried to lay vinyl you know that it just loves to stick to itself. This adhesive is the same way. Just dabbing the ball of adhesive around picked it all up. No chemicals needed. Wiped the area with a dry no lint cloth and nothing was left over.

He said it was the quickest and cleanest debadging he has ever done.
