Grab 'GOOF OFF' from Home Depot! This requires NO elbow grease at all. Simply rub back and forth till its gone. It rubs off with almost little to no pressure

Or use the eraser wheel

Is that stuff safe for the paint? On the back it says damages most automotive paints.

It did absolutely nothing to mine.
I did however wash it off with soap right after all was removed and then waxed, but no, it did not do anything

If your trim is old, that pull at 45 degrees crap won't work.

But 3M Adhesive Remover will. :D

Same here. As soon as I saw how easy it was, I went straight to the garage and took 'em off. Looks so much better. Great video.

Tried to do mine today. No way that foam is coming off as easy as it did in the video, not on my truck. Both my thumbs are blistered and I only got 3 letters off. Goo Gone is a bust, too. Acetone worked great at getting the residue off and some Mother's wax with an electric buffer made it look great. Will have to wait for my thumbs to heal before tackling any more. What a chore.

Really? Your truck is new too!

I tried this on mine and my other car (2 years old) and worked exactly as Trupiano showed in the video.

I was amazed at how easy it was without an eraser wheel.

Thanks again Trup

I really want to get mine debadged

So get off the computer and do it!

I used my gf's hair dryer to heat up the letters. worked great, then used a 3m eraser wheel to get the adhesive off.

I tried a heat gun and those were the spots that were the hardest to get off. I wonder if they use a different adhesive material between batches because mine have been a ***** to get off so far using the methods in here. On my 2000 it was way easier.

I wrapped fishing string around Popsicle sticks..like dental floss around your fingers...then used a sawing action and they popped right off. Had my buddy catch them so they didn't get scratched on the floor. The backing peeled right off, pulling away at a 45 degree angle away from the backing. Any residue came off with goof off.

Exactly how I did mine.
Good Off works much better than Goo Gone
