Ive been thinking about doing this, keeping the HEMI badges and just removing the RAM emblems and LoneStar emblem on the tailgate. On the 02 Z28 i had and 02 SS i have, i used dental floss and degreaser to get the badges & residue off. Some of the adhesive came off easy and parts took some scrubbing but it wasnt hard at all. I also did it during the day in this wonderfull west texas heat lol so i guess you can say they were warmed up from the sun.

Got this done today. I used lighter fluid to remove tape residue, but overdid it a little with the "RAM 1500" badges on one side (cold weather this AM). There was a little ghosting and imperfections as a result. But a small amount of polish, then wax, eliminated all of it. Ya, I left on the 5.7 Hemi badges on L and R. :)

Ahh I forgot to mention I tied the ends of the fishing line to two random keys I had, cause holding the fishing line was hurting my fingers pulling too hard, made the job much easier after that!

I would think it would be harder to get the residue off?

Thanks guys. I'll try it first and see if I'll need to buy an eraser wheel. Looks like they are around $38 around here to buy one.

Did you buy it for debadging or what? Thats what I'm afraid of. I'll spend almost $40 and use it once and never again. If I have a hard time getting the 3M tape off I will think about your offer.
