Following up to my thread on the new projector fogs I'm offering (see here - http://www.ramforum.com/f96/4th-gen-fogs-retrod-10168/)

First, bumper has to come out:

Step 4 there says to remove the grill, so here's their instructions on that:

oh, now you can get to the actual fog light removal:

Holy F, that is a lot of work just to get the fog lights out. I was kind of excited about the idea of projectors in my fogs. Now I think that is probably never going to happen.

That diagram makes it look like a huge :nutkick: , but its really not too bad. I took mine out yesterday from my chromed bumpers in order to mount them on the soon to be bed lined bumpers. The grill pops off easy, especially after you've done it a time or two, and the radiator shroud does as well. Did the whole thing in about 10 mins. Looks complicated, but really isn't.

removing the fogs in a Sport (or Express) model - much different than the chrome bumpers. Chrome is simple, 3 bolts and they are out. Sport, remove the entire bumper.

Lol well thats a good thing to know. I guess when I switch from chrome to sport this week I should make sure my fogs are exactly like I want them!

Wish I would have read this awhile back before I tinted my fogs with night shade while they were still mounted. During the day it looks fine but its ****** looking at night, not to mention all the bugs in Louisiana have slowly started to chip it away. Time to order some new ones...

I sell TYC replicas. Fit just like stock! Let me know, I have 6 sets in stock at the moment.

They would go for 68.50 shipped on the set.

Attempting this right now ... it didn't take that long to remove bumper. The screw holding the facia onto the fender is tricky to get to but comes out easy.

about to install the new fogs I got from JJ today :)
