I hate to ask but I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and I folded the seat bottoms up out of the way to use the floor storage but now I need to return the seat bottoms back down so that the rear seats can be sat upon BUT I cannot find the release to lower those seat bottoms back down. Can someone please post how to do it or even post a photo of where the release is?

I have looked extensively online and in my manual but not found the answer. Thank you for any help.

I have a 2014 quad cab, and mine will stay up if I put them there, put I can just pull them back down when needed. No latch or handle to release them.

my 2500 CC rear seats fold up and then I pull them back down again. I have no latch release and they don't lock into position.

The hinges are a bit stiff but they don't lock.

Strange.

Mine doesn't lock either and I've played with the folding feature quite a bit.

I know the back rest rocks up and down when you lift your bench up and down. Perhaps try lifting the back rest slightly, while pushing down the seat.

The only other thing I can think of, is one of the seat belt ends is wedged between the upper and lower and won't allow it to fold down. Try reaching in between the cushions and free the seat belt end (either pulling them up or pushing them right through)

Solved? (operator error - I guess)

Well, thanks for the replies. I just retried pulling them back down and they folded down real easily. I KNOW they would not before, REALLY. I know it sounds like operator error and I guess it was. So thanks again.

No worries.

"Operator Error" happens to all of us at one time or another. :D

Glad it worked out for you.
