This diy is so you can mount a winch and a universal winch channel on the front of your second generation.

First remove the stock bumper by loosening the bolts holding it to the bull horns. Then the bolts connecting the bumper to the supports in front of the wheel wells.

Then remove the bull horns from the frame. - there will be 3 bolts on each horn.

Next measure the length of the universal mount. Make sure that it will fit in the frame. (you may have to cut it down to size).

Insert the mount where the bull horns were. Mark where the holes will be drilled on the frame rail. ( frame rail is between the slots where the bull horns were)

Drill and then mount.

Bolt down the winch and then the fairlead.

Reinstall the horns (make sure they are straight)

Remount the bumper.

Wire the winch according to the included instructions.

I'll be removing my bumper again in a few days so let me know if you want pixs.
