Nice lil video. I will deff be doing this once the truck gets here. I like the Avatar. I changed out all the bulbs in our 06 and 09 Vipers. It makes such a huge difference.

Very awesome video man. Thanks a ton. Also never realized how easy the Efan conversion was until I watched your video on that today.

No worries glad you liked it!

The fan mod was probably one the best mods (in my opinion) that I have done so far to the truck.

Really? Care to elaborate on fan?

Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Many reasons!

- More room in the engine bay to work on your truck
- No loud whirring noise on cold startups
- Less drag on the engine = more HP & MPG
- Now I can fully control engine temps with electric fan and Diablosport

Check out this episode from Motor Trend that shows just how much HP a mechanical fan can rob from an engine

Go to ebay and type in: "T10 Canbus LED"

Mine were 99 cents with shipping lol. From there its up to you how much you want to spend and roll the dice :roflsquared:

I wasn't able to beat your price, but found these on Amazon. A ten-pack for $5.99! Amazon says they don't fit my Laramie, but they work great with no "bulb out" message. With my "line of fire" and led tail lights, now everything external out back is LED with the exception of the OEM back-up lights. The "line of fire" back-up lights overpower the OEM reverse lights anyways. Now I need to address the headlights.

Mine came yesterday and I just installed them. Took less then 2 minutes to install. Hardest part was getting the old bulb out of the plug. As I had limited tools in my pocket and didn't want to go back inside, I used the pliers on my leatherman and carefully wiggled it side to side until it popped out. The process was so fast, I forgot to take a before and after picture. They match well with the LED cargo lights I bought from Headlight Revolution.

Now to continue changing out the other bulbs..I think reverse lights are next.

Yeah I wish they made a LED reverse bulb that works better in our housing for LED tails. I upgraded mine but due to the angle of the bulb only perform a little better than stock

Noob here... Why is this such a big deal to the peeps in this group? Is there a voltage problem in our vehicles where the bulbs draw so much power that this should be done or is it just looks? Just wondering because there seems to be so many posts about led lights

incandescent bulbs are more of a yellowish color, and the LEDs are white. The LED can also give off more lumens for less power consumption
