if you do vinyl or carpet, round the wood edges some. A heat gun (or hair dryer) helps on curved areas if using vinyl. Make sure what you get is stretchy. Use a GOOD glue, like 3M spray adhesive, or it'll pull away in short order.

The problem lies in the compound edges, as seams are hard to hide with vinyl.

I would use a backing padded material behind the carpet or vinyl. to help with the overall look and the curves.

you could easily staple it on the underside as well

ah okay. well I'll either try to carpet/backing board it and try to his the staples as well as I can.

the bed liner or plastidip is really tempting because I think it'd be easiest.

IMO bedliner or plasti dip would make it look junky. You are off to a great start, don't rush into something ***** nilly. Plasti dip could scratch off easily. Bedliner is for outside... Just my opinion.

rattle cans make everything look good :D lol

lol well I think carpet will look nice, Im not really willing to go through the trouble to fiberglass. should I get black or charcoal to match the floor carpet? I mean my liners are black but the carpet is more of a charcoal. I guess keep in mind that the truck theme is red and black, so I was leaning towards black carpet lol

might be going that route, so its suggested I round the edges, use good glue, and a heat gun, backing board thats cushy, staples, and a stretchy material. Did I miss anything?

That's a nice design. Carpet or vinyl would definitely be your best bet to cover it with.
