i have read VASTLY different opinions on tire pressure for our trucks when upgrading to 35’s. Well I finally went to the experts, the folks that made my damn tires lol.

After asking what my original tires were and the manufacturers recommendation was on my door panel, they came back with this response:

Thank you for the information. Toyo recommends 43 PSI cold front and rear for your 35x12.50r20LT Open Country MT Tires.

So there you have it folks! Still though I think I’ll put 37 in the rears when I’m not hauling anything. But 43 up front sounds good to me!

I’ve always “chalk tested” larger tires. It lets you dial in the psi to your specific setup.

I run 54 psi all the way around on my 35's. It seems to be the best pressure for optimal wear with my routine loads given the weight of my 2500 CTD.

I have the Toyos on my Rebel and it says to run 55psi front and 45 psi rear on the door.

Do you think this would be the same for the Toyo Open Country R/Ts?

OP, which load rated tire are you referring to? Theres two diff tires in same size just with varying max psi (ex.80vs65) relative to load...
