So yes I have been searching around a bit. I came to the conclusion that I am only going to replace the muffler and Y pipe. I am trying to figure out which muffler and the specs (looking at the stock one its offset in/ offset out). I want a quieter exhaust( not compared to stock, but compared to the exhaust offerings with a nice rumble...Deep tone, no rasp and hopefully no interior resonance (or little). This is my daily driver, I am more partial to power over fuel economy (although fuel savings is a plus). I am looking for ideas, recommendations, etc. I currently have a Spectre intake and a Diablo preadator tuner. I am set at 89 octane and plan to stay there..(but 91 octane recommendations are welcome as well) Thanks

Magnaflow is the best sound that you are looking for IMO ... super smooth low rumble no cab drone and will help in the low end power as it retains the same back pressure as stock

As for size I think your exhaust is 3" in and out .

I've just had experience with "knock-off" Flowmasters such as Flo-pro (on a 4.7) and Goerlich (on current 5.7). I was happy with both. Did experience some drone with the flo-pro but none with the Goerlich. These were both replacement mufflers with dual tips out the back, no other pipe modifications.

Thanks for the advice. So I guess ill start looking at Magnaflow. Any certain model? I had a cat back flowmaster (40 series I believe) on my last truck, 2001 F-150 and I really liked it.

On a side note looking for the best replacement muffler(drop in) , in regards of center in/ offset out or offset in/ offset out? The stock one is offset in/out but I plan to use the stock pipes with the least amount of disruption.
Thanks again.

I have a 14" manaflow universal muffler and love it. Imo it is definitely not too loud but souds great. I don't have the party number on hand but mine its a si/do and you would need a si/so
