With 14" wide wheels and 12.50 tires they are going to be stretched...
That's why I said what I said lol. If he wants a 14 inch wide wheel, go with at least a 14 inch wide tire. If he wants a 12.5 wide tire, go with either a 12 or 9 inch wide wheel.
Preach it buddy! This stretched tire fad is f-ing dumb.
The taller the sidewall, the less shitty ride you'll have. At least that's my experience.
Well.......... to a certain level. Once you get a lot of sidewall, you start to get the bouncy balloon effect from the tires. When I was young and stupid, we put 39.5" Super Swampers on a 15x12 on a Toyota. We had to run stupid low tire pressures to keep the thing from acting like a pogo stick on the road.......
im not expecting everyone to like it when its done. id really like to go 355/40 on tires, but theyre just retarded expensive and this isnt a truck im going to die with.
annnnnd.. its 2wd. so its useless anyway.
Not necessarily useless... Just not as convenient. Put a winch on the front and you're quite capable, just not as capable lol...
i wish someone made a LT/MT kit for these trucks. i know theyre heavy AF but it would be a blast baja-ing through a corn field in one at full tilt. i heard rumors of an atomic kit but theyre like 5grand for just the front.. which is really, really, stupid.
im decent around a welder.. why cant i just make LT arms? whats the worst that could happen.
They do, they're just really expensive. And they're one off custom jobs done by some company out of San Diego. Can't remember the name.
Separate names with a comma.
