I'd love to level my truck with bilstein's but...
My local dealer won't honor the factory warranty unless I purchase their kit and have them install. I want to stay on good terms with the one here in case of immediate warranty concerns.
They said they use the Daystar leveling kit and it would be 372.50 total for the kit installed with realignment. They weren't able clarify if it would be the spring preload spacer or the strut mount spacer. Does that seem like a decent price for a dealer? I've pretty well decided against these guys.
On the other hand, I called the dealer where I purchased my Ram (90 miles away) and they said that none of the leveling kits void any warranty. They said I can use the spacers or strut style and even put it on myself without voiding any factory warranty. They said only lift kits would void the warranty if not done by them.
I guess if I ever have the local dealer turn down any warranty work then I will take it to the other dealer. It would stink to drive an hour and half, wait for service, then drive an hour and half back ( $40 in fuel too).
