The wife is telling me that there are some issues with the ignition switch in the dash of our 2011 Sport Quadcab. I haven't had a chance to look at it, but what she says is...
- when turning the key it doesn't feel smooth.
- after starting the truck the radio does not always come on. Sometimes you need to wiggle the key around in the switch.
- when you remove the key the spring in the switch doesn't always push the insert in the socket back out.
- we just started having a TPMS light start flashing on our dashboard (not sure if it's related)
To me, it sounds like the switch in the dashboard is broken/worn out.
How hard is it to replace this switch? Is this going to be an expensive fix? Is there anything else I should be looking at?
