I’m hopeful the issue is resolved, but won’t know for sure until we get a few more cold days in.
So initially the dealership recalibrated the system. I was then told it was good to go. I picked it up on the way to work and then proceeded to work, which is about 45 minutes away from the dealership. About 20 minutes into the drive the same trouble message appears. I drop it back off that evening.
It took a few days and they finally called me to say that they had reached out to Chrysler for assistance as they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Chrysler directed them to a service bulletin, which referenced replacing the air compressor. This was on backorder and I was told could take a few weeks. Fortunately they called me back without n a few days and asked I bring the truck back in as they received the part from another dealership that had one in stock.
Fast forward to last Tuesday when they told me the truck was good to go. Paperwork completed I go to start my truck. Upon doing so I saw they left it in Off-Rod 1, so I go to lower it when bam..... the same trouble message. I took a pic for proof. The service guy is dumbfounded and says they’ll get it to the tech again.
So I finally go back yesterday to pick it up. They said they could not get that trouble message to reappear. It almost begins sounding like they doubted me, when he says a different code/message came up but it’s nothing to worry about. I press for more info and he states it read “Failed to achieve ride height.”. He said they checked for leaks and recalibrated it again and did not receive any more codes.
As to the warranty, I purchased the lifetime warranty/ $100 deductible when I bought the truck used about a year ago.
