Hey guys,
I know we have a Strictly lowering a 4x4 thread, but I wanted to maybe create one just for the INEZ IHC Kit for the 4x4 platform. Somewhere people can ask install questions, share tips, insight or adjustments needed or performed during or after the install. As well as any upgrades done to their kit.

I have just received my kit, I'll get getting it out to powdercoat in the next week or so. Then trying to find time for install... I will make an install, thread when it goes together.

I am ordering QA1 TN709s for the rear shocks, and the Moog K80337 Stabilizer Link Kit for the front. I already have a Rancho RS7808MT front strut, and new KYB SM5580 mounts for the front assemblies.

One question I have for those with the kit that did the install. How much did you cut off the rear spring to get level at 4/6? I wanna cut this before sending out to powder, don't really want to cut again. I know in the video they say to do 1/2-3/4 of a coil and start there but just curious if the 4x4 guys with the kit are consistently cutting the same amount off or not.

I have the following to make up my drop;

INEZ IHC 4/6 kit
Rancho RS7808MT Front Struts
KYB SM5580 Front Strut Mounts
Moog K80337 Front Stabilizer Link
QA1 TN709 Rear Shock
Hellwig 7709 Rear Swaybar Kit
Dodge Off-Road Rear Trailling Arm Kit
Dodge Off-Road Rear Trackbar

Now lets see some of those awesome INEZ DROPS 4x4 drops

I got my parts back from powder coat....

The shocks and few other music pieces arrive beginning of the week, I’ll post pics. Then it’s going for install on 1/224a2947e2c2ec3e40a562154dc23e80d4.jpg54adbfb99d2a71897bd7212846388458.jpg283ba9845563fb12605f41e396e00b7a.jpg12e600e8ddcd9c3aeb95968ab0e8c556.jpg861ab580fefa115ec6055385e36a5767.jpg5489c6c977f11b7ca7f5761f4d51aa9d.jpg6d6f4ab2eff059b72baff1cfea537bfe.jpg45566889baf71cd4cf83c3cf32ba1e3a.jpg56b6c07cfee864e96edf8aaa3075233a.jpg02dca5c1195dc9aa4f9749bf0dac158a.jpg3b1eeffbbecc03a4a4b6e639e8656539.jpgc2168339891442f7cd7b68a31a090ec9.jpg0460ec064d7f90b20d6d467a857327fa.jpg

I saw you were selling the GF "kit" you have on the truck, are you still planning to do that once you install the new drop. I'm interested.

Man in 2018 it certainly
Isn’t hard to find out where it’s sold, or how to reach them...

SEARCH....

You clearly don’t even browse forum vendors at MOES carries it. YouTube has videos from Inez instructing you where to get it.... put a little effort out man

Hmmm well i though that a forum based chat as like this one would share information . However i see that this thread is not all about sharing and more about being a keyboard cowboy.

On MOES site, its description is not complete. It only has a parts list for the rear only. I can only assume that is incorrect since the front needs to lower also. I have been looking for the manufacture website unsuccessfully.

I have searched and there is a ton of options that is a little overwhelming. I like to buy stuff one time, if others has purchased the same products and has good luck with certain vendors i tend to follow the masses. However not the case here. Thanks for no help. Have a great day :)

The info has been given many times, many threads.... that is all and yet I still provided you with where you can obtain it so can’t really say thanks for no help??

Well I have officially had the kit installed onto the truck for a week... It has been pretty dang cold here in central IL, negative, and single digit temps and wind chills. I haven't had a chance to clean the truck up as it is FILTHY, but as soon as I can I'll get pics.

Now for some insight on the install, I had a local Spring/Alignment shop who handles everything from Light Duty to Heavy Duty do the install... $1,850 later. Pretty painful, I dropped the truck off on a Wednesday and picked it up on the following Tuesday night. Which occured a $350 rental added to the $1,850 bringing me to $2,200 just for labor of installation doh!

I replaced the MasterPro Balljoints with MOOG Problem Solvers (personal preference). Additionally I got new MOOG outer tie rod ends since they OE had to be removed to trim the inner rod 3/8" anyway, and new MOOG swaybar links.

Truck has the following parts on it;

INEZ IHC 4/6 4WD Lowering Kit (minus their supplied rear shocks)
Rancho RS999808XL Front Struts
KYB SM5580 Upper Strut Mounts
MOOG K6541 Lower Ball Joints
MOOG K6292 Upper Ball Joints
MOOG ES801123 Outer Tie Rod Ends
MOOG K80894 Front Sway Bar Links
QA1 TS709 Single Adjustable Rear shocks
Hellwig 7709 Rear Swaybar (set to the middle hole)
AirLift 1000 Helper Bags
DodgeOffRoad Trailing Arms Kit
DodgeOffRoad Rear Panhard Rod

I had INEZ ship me bar parts, as they have been powder coated as you can see. So some of the cost was I had to pay the shop to press the bushings into the arms, and assemble them with the ball joints.

The QA1 TS709 shock has a 14mm bushing, our bolts are 16mm, so I had to have a machine shop make me new bushings ($30).

As of this morning my wheel opening measurements are (helper bags have 6psi):

LF - 33"
RF - 33"
LR - 33.5"
RR - 34"

When I dropped the truck off I had the front struts, and rear shocks adjusted to the middle of the road setting. When I picked it up they had dropped the front struts to a 3, and it was extremely harsh and stiff... bouncy even, I have dropped it to a 1, and its softened up but still noticeably more firm than the new Rancho RS7808MTs I had on with the GF kit. I do have quite a bit of bushing noise squawking, additionally they had to shim the front end of the truck up as it came down too much and was binding the RH CV shaft on turns. It still does it at speed (like getting onto a tight interstate ramp where the weight of the truck pushes the front end down) I am working with INEZ on this, and he has a "leveling kit type spacer on its way to me that will be delivered tomorrow. In addition to a 9MM wheel spacer my wheels rub LIGHTLY on the sway bar mount tab to the inner lip of the wheel at lock.. (wheels are DUB SKILLZ +25 24"x10" with Nitto 420S 305/35-24). So I will lift the front up a bit, and push the wheels out roughly a 1/4" this weekend and see if this helps. If not I will see if we can lengthen the upper control arm to let the wheel come out some. Another option (not one I want to do is get custom CV axles made 1" narrower I'm guessing depending on math).

Outside of these things, the kit is nice and it drives well... The ride is stiff, but then again I wanted to try a QA1 shock, and Rancho struts, I may swap to an OEM strut, and the ProComp 919500 rear shocks INEZ has in the kit to see if it give the full CADILLAC ride we hear about. Additionally I plan to spray white lithium grease at all of the bushing seams to see if I can quiet them down without removing the arms and properly packing more grease into the housings.

All in all, INEZ has been WONDERFUL to work with, and even spoke to the shop many of times to answer any questions they have had, and are continuing to work with me now on getting everything addressed. I am reporting back to them as well. It's a new custom kit, it'll have some quirks to be worked on. That being said I DID change the strut, and rear shock from what they use, as well as I don't have an OEM wheel/tire setup. Therefore they cannot test every fitment out there.

Currently as of this moment the front wheels are tucked in a little, so I have some room to space them out and not stick outside of the body. As mentioned when the weather clears, and warms up I will get pics of everything. I just want this thread to be an informative thread for their 4WD kits. Additionally I will continually update the post with info, of any changes good or bad and the feedback that I do.

Gonna have to introduce you to Kurtis Holland/Charonblk someday Andrew,he's running the Inez kit on his truck, which started life as a 4X4,but is basically a 2wd after he did the 4L80 swap, and dropped all his 4X4 components out. It'll still give you an idea of what the kit looks like installed on a 4X4

I’ve watch his posts closely over the years. Love that truck. It’s always changing. Would really like to see his truck and chat with him.

And yours. I’d like to chat suspension and cam swap.
Maybe come the new year.
