Information needed

Anyone out there in Dodge land know where I can obtain a new or good used fuel sending unit or how I can repair my unit for a 1988 W150 w/5.2 engine? The contact points are worn and do not make contact when the tank is full.

Can you pull it apart. Clean it really well and use some solder to make new traces for where it contacts? I've gotten away with it on my old bronco. Not a permanent fix but long enough till you can buy a new unit.

you will really have no choice but to fix it or have it fixed unless you don't mind buying a aftermarket sending unit and gas gauge. i don't think you will find one for a 88-90 truck.
