Before selecting a injector size we must first need to know what other mods you have or are planing to go with ?

If no UPGRADES and just wanting a bump I would go with a RV275

Going 75 on up you run the risk of hurting your stock parts like the turbo ect ,,

I would recommend DDP injectors as they are the best of the best in many peoples eyes , I love my 50's and might be going bigger soon now that I have a bigger turbo .

Our vendor XDP sells all types of injectors and can give you a great price and let you know witch one will work best for your application .

Hubert3317, What is your end goal with your truck and what do you plan on doing with it? What other upgrades do you have done so far?

I want about 350 t0 400 horse and 650 torque. I just tow my 13500 boat to and from the lake and on the 9 percent grades my truck bogs down and i top the hill at about 26 mph yay for me. I was embarrassed when loaded semis were passing me kinda lame. I am planning for a hx40 turbo. I already have a 4 inch exhaust turbo back

Going away from the HY is a start . Sounds like all you need to get in those ranges is a good tuner like a quadzilla or edge ect ..

Upgrading injectors to a RV275 will also help .

Should I install the rv 275 with a new turbo or the 100 hp injectors with a new turbo. I was thinking a hx40. my truck has 180,000 miles so I figure i for sure want to replace the injectors. they have never been changed

With a stock turbo HX or HY and no other mods RV275's or 50's at the most .

I installed 50's on mine when I had a stock turbo and it was a big difference and the stock turbo could handle them ... any bigger you run into problems .

Now that I have a BD single B turbo I want 100's but I have the mods to back the 100's

Play it safe ... without big mods stay around the 275's or 50's

Also you will need to look into gauges if you dont have them now . Boost , fuel , and EGT's should be top priority to monitor

He is not trying to build a pull truck or a track truck . He still wants it as a DD and able to tow .

A mild injector and electronic upgrades like an Edge or Quadzilla will really help you achieve that. Like Dave mentioned, if you stay around stock you won't want too big of an injector so that way you can keep the heat down. Yes there is some guys that do it but I typically try to stay a bit more conservative. Nothing is worse than buying a bunch of parts you're unhappy with.

Industrial Injection offers the Stage 1 RV injectors. Industrial Injection 24 Valve Dodge Injector
BD Power also offers some 75's as well. BD-Power High Flow Dodge Cummins Injectors
