Just got these bad boys delivered yesterday... they will be getting put in tomorrow. Can't wait to see the light output. The best part about it is they are $109.95 on the Opt-7 website and I got mine for $72 lol. Definitely a major win!!

Throwing them into these lights:

I only got the H11 Low Beam Opt7's for now because I've read that you can't really fit much into the high beam part of the headlight so I figured I'd keep that Halogen for now. I put a Phillips CrystalVision 9005 in there and it's bright enough for me.

I will definitely be sure to take before and after pictures and I'm thinking of even making a install video. I've been wanting to start a YouTube channel for a long time now, seems like a good start.

On a side note; I see ALOT of people ******** about the Quad headlights being terrible and ****** lighting. My quads have whatever bulbs come in them when you buy replacements, I'm guessing a cheap bulb, and they seem to put out a really decent amount of light for stock oem halogens. They have a clean cut off line which is also really odd for halogens. I bought my truck with Duals and swapped in a custom built set of Quads, and even the Duals weren't as bad as the lighting in my 2006 Ram lol.

I'm happy with how it's going, minus the wheels. I need to get a set of Stock wheels and paint them black or a different aftermarket wheel. I don't like how these rims look on the regular cab.

If it was in 2015 then that means you had the original FluxBeam bulbs, these are a newer style, FluxBeam-X. They just released these at the end of November so I'm hoping they are updated and better quality then the originals.

i ran them in my fogs which were 9006 bulbs, if the housings were hidden then i would not of seen the color change, they were dam bright but opt 7 was a hassle to deal with so i just left them in my 2015 when it went last month

Good News!!!!!

So I FINALLY got around to installing these in my low beams.... and EVERYTHING fits inside the Quad headlights housing!!! The LED Bulb, the LED Driver, the ECM Capacitors and all of the wiring fit inside the Quad Headlights Housing and the dust cap can be screwed back on without having to modify it at all! Check out the pictures of everything inside the Quad Headlight:

ba0347cc685c2b9fd199165276a9b2c0.jpg06d41c23031fbe7878ed2a74908c62b6.jpge9a9389911f31c87ba5f86b2d1b1b4f1.jpg

Anyways, besides fitment, the output looks amazing!!! Check out the pictures below and you will see what I mean. The Pass. Side Headlight has the Opt-7 FluxBeam-X bulb and the Driver Side Headlight had the stock OEM Halogen bulb. The difference is unreal. They look better than I could have ever imagined. The LED Bulbs color matches my Switchback Halos and 3157 switchbacks perfectly!!!

2d41af8679ff29cd9f95b4fb8c7ac921.jpg

I'll get some more pictures once it gets darker out. I'll take some from head on, 25ft away and then some from the drivers seat.

P.S. It's kinda funny that the day after i bought my truck I installed Phillips Crystal Vision 9006 Halogen bulbs in my Fogs and I thought they were super white for being a Halogen. But now that I have these LED's in the low beams and the LED Halo's and LED 3157 Bulbs that are SO pure white, that I can really see how yellow the Fogs are, but before I had any of those LED's I thought the Phillips 9006 Halogens were white haha...

Nice! If you get time can you take a pic on the road looking out through the windshield at night?

Thanks for taking the time to do that OnSale I think I'll be ordering a set of those for myself!

No problem man!! You won't be disappointed!!! Man are these bulbs bright!!! In the one comparison photo where I'm at the red light, it's hard to tell from the photo but the low beams are actually brighter than my high beams!!! The high beams are a super dull yellow and it almost looked as if I had no lights on when I switched to them.

It's unreal how much these bulbs have lit up the road for me. The road signs a 1/4 mile down the road are lit up lol. Man I love these lights.

They actually put out MORE light are are atleast 2x brighter than my Opt7 6k HID Kit that I had installed in my 2006 Ram. These bulbs blow those HID's away!!

Too bad they wouldn't fit underneath the oem projector dust cap or I would get a set. I had a set in my 14 Sport fog lights and I loved them.

Yea I upload photos using TapATalk's Upload feature and it was messed up and broken all of last night. I don't know what images arnt working but all of them work when I view the post.

Oh and I passed about 15-20 people and not one person has flashed me to "Turn off my high beams" so I'm guessing they are aimed properly. I also sat at a red light with a cop directly across from me in a parking lot and my lights lit up the inside of his car and I could clearly see his face staring at me and he didn't pull me over. I even passed him 5 minutes later and he didn't bother me again. So I'm going to say that the lights are THAT bright but must be aimed properly.

Yea that sucks man. I'm actually selling these headlight housings to get a set of 13+ OEM projectors and I was hoping to use these bulbs in the projectors but I guess not :-(

The OPT-7s are great, but like you I wanted a set that would fit inside the OEM dust caps.

These bulbs, heat sinks, drivers, and CANBUS modules all fit inside the dust cap (lows only).

These pictures are all lows only -- no fogs.

So those fit under the dust caps of the 13+ OEM projectors?

Well ****. I must have read it wrong. -- Just Quads afaik.

I'm guessing the Opt-7 fit fine in quads as well.

For projectors -- i'm not aware of any LED bulbs that fit. My mistake.

Here's a video of preserving water sealing of stock with HID's though. (WITH projectors)
