ok i found a 1994 dodge ram regular cab long bed 2wd 5.9 360 with 373 gears fully loaded for 500 bucks. it has sat for 3 years on a trailer. needs a transmission. and tires. and back glass. but stars perfectly fine and goes in reverse i can get a good transmission for 75 dollars at express pull and save. my plan is to put a 2 or 3 inch lift and my wheels on my current ram on it with 33s when i buy new ones for my ram. im just wondering if its a good deal or should i pass up. it has 340k on it but has 105k on motor and he has paperwork on everything

it looks exactly like this but chrome oem wheels and silver on the bottom

I'd say go for it, $500.00 buck cant be beat! If you don't like it you could always turn around and sell it for a profit.

I "think" that most of the kits for that 2wd year model are coil spacers on the front and a add-a-leaf or blocks for the rear. Shouldn't be to hard.

Well from what I have been seeing on 2wd lifts is only a 2" level kit or a full 6" kit. Unless you do a body lift.

I was just playing with ya. The '94 was a decent truck.

You could go with a 2" coil spacer and a 3" BL and clear a decent size tire pretty easy.
Just get some good HD shocks (You can get Ram 2500 shocks for the front that are a touch longer to make up for the coil spacers) especially for the front and it'll be a nice truck.

I ran Monroe Reflex shocks on my '99 and I loved em. Stiff but still compliant. Really improved the ride / drive of the truck. Also watch out for Idler / Pitman issues, they wear out and can create a pretty dangerous situation.
