Issue with shipping/packageing

I have ordered several things from xdp, two exhaust systems, and a tip, i always have been happy with the shipping, very fast, very high quality. On the last system i received for my duramax, i was confused to say the least, i got off work and found this sitting on my door step.







I called customer service and the women on the phone didn't really have anything to say, so i figured this would be the best place to post results. Nothing appears to be damaged i was just shocked when i came home to find a piece of exhaust pipe hanging out of the box.
not trying to start a war or anything, i most likely will purchase from you'll in the future but i just wanted you to be aware of this.

I would say that thats 100% UPS not XDP . But I would expect some foam or something in the packaging .

It's ups. They don't care at all what they carry on their trucks. I've. Even told be former employees some of the things they do. Goes for FedEx too.

New bad news i am fuming, the piece that connects to the turbo down pipe is dented in enough to leak. i am going to call xdp in the morning i hope they can help. pics will be up soon.

Yeah, not good. I would have refused delivery and called XDP to tell them why.

People love to blame the shipping company and sometimes rightfully so, but the shipper needs to package responsible with the understanding that the box may travel cross country, through several hubs on and off trucks and the packaging needs to withstand this. heavier items will require double/triple wall cartons with interior supports and padding to restrict moving.

had the same thing happen to me the other day but with fed ex and it wasnt ordered from XDP, my box was actually opened up when i got home from work but you never know if it was them or someone stoped by your house and wanted to see what you had in the package or if the shipping people were messing with it/being rough with it

That dose NOT look like UPS fault, there is no packing material to protect the pipes. I bet if UPS claims rep. saw your pictures they would blame the shipper for the way it was packed.

kind of odd if you buy a 600 $ stainless exhaust you would expect at least some foam/plastic wrap to protect it just saying. I'm not really into who's fault this is i just want it resolved so i can make my truck sound as good as it looks.
