Keep auto-start from turning off?

I checked the manual, and may have missed it.

Is there any way to keep her running for more than 15 minutes or so?

I like to auto-start while food shopping, just to keep the interior cool while shopping in the hot climate of Arizona.

I returned to my RAM 1500 today after about 20 minutes, it was not running, wish it was.

No. The auto start mode will only run for that short period of time.

Mine is ice cold after about 10 minutes using remote start. Do you have dark tint?
That made a big difference in my truck. The only time I restarted mine with remote start was hunting last weekend. High 30s and it didn't blow warm air before it turned itself off.

As per your question though, I don't know of a way to keep it running longer.

No and it can not be changed either.

It can be remote started twice before needing to cycle key. So you could remote start it a second time while shopping but you would have to be in range.

What I do is, I start mine when I am about to get checked out. If you have uconnect service, you can just do it from your phone and that will ensure it actually starts (my fob wont start it unless I am in line of site of the truck).

AC gets it cold quick, heat takes a while, and I may be in the same situation as you. Although, I typically do not spend enough time in a store to have to worry about the engine going cold.

15 minutes is the max time to idle. It conforms to the anti idling laws in some states and Canadian provinces.
