Wth? Why not? That's the only way I know of playing music through blutooth, anything else has to be played through the aux cord

You phone should be able to get the Pandora app just fine, I have the older HTC one and it works fine. Go into your Bluetooth settings and make sure both "phone" and "media" are turned on. I don't know what they differentiate the two but they do and the normal default is to do phone only. Check on your headunit it may have a similar setting or a proprietary Kenwood app to down load, my pioneer did.

No the kenwood app dont work for newer phones. my htc one is on bell canada
which pandora does not support.( Go Figure)

when i go into my bluetooth options on the htc one, the only option is phone audio. which is on.
