LED conversion

I'm planning to change my gauge, climate control, and the lights in the window controls to blue or bright white LED. Only problem is finding the right bulbs at least to me is kind of confusing. Does anyone know the exact bulb/part numbers for what I need?

So I ordered B8.5D bulbs for the cluster and they are loose fitting. They work but the slightest bumps and they flicker. Has anyone done this? What did you use? Help would be appreciated

There is a great article on this though it is in an older post, I came across it accidentally once but cannot find it now because the search criteria omits "LED" saying it is too short.

Does anyone else remember this article? the dash was a brilliant blue and only complaint was the dimmer wouldn't work being it was LED's.

I saw that thread and it is a good read. However it doesn't discuss the issue I'm having. I know how to pull the dash apart and all that. I ordered the correct lights the B8.5D. The problem is they are loose fitting and only work of you hold them in. Unless there is a different B8.5D I'm not aware of

Looks great! What kind bulbs and color, blue or cool white?

These are the cool white ones which have more of a blue ish tint to them but I'm ok with it, I love the way they look

I think the lights look great. I assume you've either fixed the loose fitting somehow or used a diff sized bulb?

I had a loose fitment issue when doing my dome light and map lights...just had to squeeze the contacts closer together.

I used a different size bulb and got the high powered ones instead.
