Led reverse light bulbs

Anyone upgrade the reverse bulbs to led, any issues with the bulbs tripping codes?

I put led reverse in my 2011 and am not getting any codes they bin in there since 2011

I also installed LED backup bulbs with no issue. Wish I would have checked their install orientation before buying though. They are mounted sideways in light bay, as opposed to standing straight out. The bulbs I purchased had LEDs on top that are a complete waste.

Same here - light out on start-up but doesn't bother me.
I installed Phillips Bright White 6000K LED Back-up Light Bulbs (921/T16) (H139649) - # 12789LPB2

I have the canbus leds from superbrightleds.com and so far so good. No messages and still working so can’t complain!

I changed all my light bulbs out from Headlight Revolution. All LED and HID bulbs work great with no errors. And they have great customer service, had an issue with a bad ballast on HID kit they took care of it immediately no questions asked.

I bought a set of the sylvania 921 leds from walmart to try. Swapped out the driver side, no error codes but no light, flipped it around in case the orientation was wrong, still no light, tried the other bulb it was a no go as well. Put the stock bulb back in and it works fine. Took the bulbs back for a refund.
Any ideas? Mine's a 2016, not sure if canbus is an issue, but i got no codes or light out messages

I just ordered a pair of the LED Taillights from "Spyder". I was told by their Tech support that I cannot use an LED 921 bulb for reverse. It will do something to the circuit board and throw a code I assume. He also told me it will void the warranty as well. I like the extra light of the LED but its not a big deal as the reverse lamps are not on for an extended period of time. Going to use the Miniature incandescent 921 bulbs. These are the taillights I ordered. Will be here next Wednesday.

They are very bright and work like a charm w/o throwing any error codes on my ‘13

I’ve got the non-led tails so I put sylvania zevo’s in my tails. They are ok. They are definitely whiter, but I’m not sure about how much brighter they are

I used the ones form Retroshop, no issues.

2nd these! I have them and 20% tint all the way around. Definitely helped with backing up at night. Had them in for 4 years now with no issues. Just make sure you put them in in the correct orientation.
