I have the same tails and have had that third brake light. I have the smoked version of the tails. Works good so far. The third brake light was fine but I’ve since switched to a black housing/smoked lens to match the tails.

Hey man. I think your pic Just sold me on these. Did you add tint to the tails ? I looked at lots of pics but wasn’t sure all the crap inside would be hidden but yours look pretty dark. I like that they are tinted during the day and at night still safe and legal.

What colour did you get ? Black with smoke ? Or just smoke ?

I’m really wanting these now. No issues with fitment ?

No, that’s how dark they were just “smoked”. Darker than I was expecting honestly. I got the black housing and smoked lens version. They fit well and no problems after a few thousand miles. The only thing is that the plugs don’t necessarily seat wonderfully, but again, I’ve not had any issues so far and they’ve been on there for months now. That third brake light above is chrome housing/smoked lens. I’ve since changed to a black housing and smoked lens version. Two actually. The first one busted when I was trying to screw it in after adding a thicker seal to combat the common leaking issue. Can’t tell if this second one is leaking yet or not.

The one thing I don't like about the aftermarket LED third brake/cargo lights - the cargo lights are aimed the same as the brake LEDs instead of being angled down into the bead. I love LEDs, but I'll probably just install LED bulbs in it instead.

Actually it is...they are super expensive as well. Think they come on higher trim packages for 2500/3500. Would love one, but not for that price.
